LIVERPOOL VS ANDERLECHT THREAD - build up and reaction

I'm not really an anderlecht fan (I support their eternal rivals Club Brugge), but obviously I do hope anderlecht will win today.
I just hope they won't have their 10th (is it 10th? I lost track) consecutive champions league defeat. Sometimes I wonder why we even bother to compete against teams that have a budget that is 10 times as big as ours. (and that's Liverpool I'm talking about, don't get me started on Chelsea).
It's a shame that big belgian clubs like Brugge or Anderlecht, with millions of fans, can't have a european top team, but I guess the league is just too small.
Anyway if anderlecht loses again, I hope that it helps liverpool in winning the group stage.

cheers mate. good look to brugge against sparta prague aswell. :)

p.s. anderlecht have lost 10 CL games in a row. they've got no chance. :D

at the end of the day, a win is the most important thing, but hopefully it will be a convincing one with a bit of style.

i'm off to the game people. see you all tomorrow.

up the reds. :buttrock

One of these day's it'll fall just fall into place.  We are making the chances, and just need to convert them into goals.  It will happen, and then someone is going to be hammered. (if we can learn to kill of the game!)

I'd say Traore, Kewell (or Zenden), Crouch, maybe even Pongolle might start, but we should win.

3-0 Alonso to score first.

60-1 in fact. My optimism may return me £300

I just want a comfortable performance, no hiccups.

Whoever starts up front tonight I hope they bag a couple.  Crouch and Morientes could certainly do with a goal and Cisse is such a confidence player that scoring will make him better for the upcoming games.

Hope the team's unchanged but there's little or no chance of that happening.  Any sort of a win would do me tonight

Hope that Morientes and Crouch do score if they play. They need the confidence to get going.
