Wigan are an attacking side, especially at home, this should be completely different to the Middlesbrough, Man City and Portsmouth games, I think it is fair expect goals from us.

But we have to improve against the teams who sit in their own box.

Just heard on radio 5 live.

Bellamy back partners crouch. Crouch out with back injury. Alonso also back.

ALONSO AND BELLAMY TO START AT WIGAN

Xabi Alonso and Craig Bellamy will return to the Liverpool starting eleven for today's Premiership clash with Wigan Athletic at the JJB Stadium.
Alonso has recovered from the hip injury he picked up against PSV Eindhoven and he will be joined in midfield by Steven Gerrard and Luis Garcia.

We're waiting to see if Jamie Carragher will again fill an unfamiliar role after starring in the centre of midfield against Portsmouth.

Liverpool - Reina, Finnan, Riise, Hyypia, Agger, Carragher, Gerrard, Garcia, Alonso, Kuyt, Bellamy. Subs -Dudek, Fowler, Pennant, Paletta, Guthrie.

Looks like we could line up in a number of ways, either with a 4-4-2 with Agger at left back and Riise at left midfield, or 4-4-2 with Agger alongside Hyypia, Carragher alongside Alonso, Gerrard on the right with Garcia on the left, or even a 5-3-2 with Alonso, Gerrard and Garcia in midfield.
