For me, 3 points against newcastle is much more important than the chelsea game.

after the dust has settled now - i have to agree!

We can take some confidence from how well we played (defended) on sunday to newcastle although i just wanna put that f*cking game behind us now!

CARSON IN FOR DEBUT AS RAFA MAKES 5 CHANGES

  Scott Carson will make his senior Liverpool debut at Newcastle this afternoon as Rafael Benitez makes five team changes. 
Carson, who only joined the club from Leeds in January, replaces Jerzy Dudek, who drops to the bench.
Fernando Morientes (groin), Didi Hamann (shin), Harry Kewell (ankle) and Djimi Traore (thigh) all miss out through injury, and are replaced by Milan Baros, Igor Biscan, Vladimir Smicer and Mauricio Pellegrino.
 
Team in full: Carson, Finnan, Riise, Carragher, Hyypia, Pellegrino, Biscan, Gerrard, Smicer, Garcia, Baros. Subs - Dudek, Warnock, Welsh, Nunez, Le Tallec. 


- Not feeling so confident now. Losing Nando for this one is a big blow and Traore has been doing ok just lately. Am assuming Pellegrino will be stepping in at CB leaving Jamie to play out on the left with Smicer coming in at Right Mid. We didn't fare too well last time the boss moved JC out to full-back. Hope we fare better this time.

Milan may feel he has a bit to prove after this past week. Lets hope he has a big game.
