There was spunk flying everywhere amongst the Mancs, and Sky Sports pundits alike when they were talking about the 30 million quids worth Berbatov. Other than an easy assist, he done sweet f*ck all.

Get in 2-1!!!! We beat them and no one can deny we deserved it. I take back anything I said about Riera, I thought he looked class whenever he touched the ball. The only bad tint is Masch getting injured but I hope he isnt injured too bad.

I honestly thought we were in for a pasting after that. This shows our mentality is good even when our skipper and main striker isnt playing.

The whole team played brilliantly - proves u need toplay as a team- they looked all over the place despite their line-up being awesome.

some posters say that alonso-masch midfield doesn't work

Well I hope this game proved them wrong, because it works perfectly, it was immense
