ALONSO played well, no complaints whatsoever.

I dont think so. The left side was solid with Reira looking extremely good in his first game.

If I were told 3 weeks ago the Kuyt Babel connection had 2 goals and Torres and Keane had only 1 between them I'd have thought we'd be out of the CL and mid table.
