How many shots we make? And how many of them on target?

Another shocking display by Morientes. I am fed up with him. He doesn't have the pace or strenght to make it. Get rid of him I say.

disappointing performance again tonight but i'm not going to push any panic buttons yet. we did exactly the same last season against ak graz.

the worrying thing is, without all of our very top players, i.e. gerrard, alonso, carragher etc, we look very ordinary. we have absolutely no width and therefore our forwards are fighting off scraps all the time.

fair play to cska though. i thought they played really well, especially in the first half. they gave us a lesson in passing, movement and how to use the ball. we certainly have a lot to think about.

Bizarrely enough the most positive thing we can take out of the game i that we have learnt some players arnt good enough and cannot be relyed upon when needed, Sissoko give his all and was man of the match again but the rest were pretty woeful....Morientes  :no  ive tried not to give him stick but he looks so bad, Mellor was more of a threat last season. But we are in the pot for Fridays draw and thats when it really starts.

This game should had been won. We created chances like we have in the past two games and WE DIDN'T TAKE THEM. How many sitters are we going to miss before we score?

2nd half was OK - job done, and Carra and Alonso rested. RB is absolutely right about the need for a right midfielder. We have nothing there at all. Pleased to see Riise on top of his game, I prefer him to Zenden even though Zenden put in a decent effort when he came on. Morientes was a bit better 2nd half, but he almost looks like he doesn't really care - memories of Kewell - we know what a fantastic player he can be, but he just isn't isn't doing it. Just as well we've got Crouch to come back ??? .
Anyway, we are now in the money/group stage, so we should be able to buy the players we need.

Barely won against newly promoted team, drew against mid level team, wonder what the results be against the top half teams at this pace ? Defence needs tweeking, offence needs total rebuilding and a right winger. I am afraid if LFC keeps playing like this, saying from Jose will  frustrate fans and players alike, spcially if team can't play better to prove him wrong.

Oh, man! What's wrong with Nando? He seems to be self-destructed! We'd better put him in some reserve matches to score!

very disappointing, potter was just f*ckin awful, as was finnan in the 1st half. cisse and morientes kept going for the same ball as eachother, but neither with enough conviction most of the time.

plus points were another good performance from sissoko and also a sound return to action from josemi

2nd half we were a lot better with garcia making a nuisance of himself but altogether not good  :no

if rafa hasn't already decided on owen then maybe he's a little bit nearer to doing so after tonight

Complete rubbish. Not a brain cell between them. Sissoko the only decent player, and even at that he wasnt great.
Bring back Barnes and Beardsley.Even now they would play better than that shower of half wits.

I started a thread on proving pundits and Maureen ho wrong.  Our players need to play inspired.  This is embarrassing.  We got improve our play.  Mancs and Chelsea coming up in the Prem.

NO MORE bad performances , please!!!

Sissoko wasn't great tonight? Who the feck were you watching? He deserved a goal for his performance, gutted that he didn't score after that shot at the end.
