Liverpool v crewe - A chance to fine tune the strikers!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Igor Zidane » Tue Sep 23, 2008 9:03 pm

Well i'm listening to it loud and clear on Radio city .Pennant is playing pretty well actually , he's the only one making things happen . Just no creativivty anywhere else . Babel and N,gog were up front but doing absolutly nothing . So rafa has put babel on the left , pennant on the right and el zhar just behind wash . Degan and insua are breaking forawrd quite abit but the forwards aren't getting in the box to capitalize on the crosses . Plessis and Lucas are both basically holding in midfield. Will try and give more info as the game continues.

One thing I hate when listening to the radio is that the commentators  always exaggerate and make things sound more exciting than what they actually are.

Remember Elton Welsby doing the commentary on the Liverpool games in the 70's on radio City. Nothing happening in the match by the way , pretty poo.

exactly. i guess this is why arsenal fans dont complain much. their future is amazing with kids like those. i think most are under 18 out there.

Cheers mate. Nice to hear Pennant isn't totally left out of the team and is trying to do well.
