Lets calm down, theres a whole second half to be played.  Anyone recall the Fulham fixture?  We need to stay composed on the ball take the ball out through the wings, and hopefully give it to our forwards who need to get a rythm going.  It's not impossible, no worse than what i pictured against Olympiakos, I'm warning you guys not to throw in the towel yet.  We need a catalyst, that maybe (doubtfully) we can find in Smicer.  To the second half !

Might aswell say taar to Stevie now his body language stinks, Traores fault the second goal, and Pennants wipping the floor with us, hope second half is 4=4=2 cause theres no service into the box what so ever, Baros is not a bloody winger  , we are getting slaughtered if I be honest and its killing me to watch.
If I was Rafa id tell them all to ****** off now, only Morientes has done anything.

2-0 at half time but come on what did we expect with baros on the right and 3 centre mids easy to say after the its all gone wrong but surley we should of played nunez or smicer on the right and played 2 up we are giving a team like birmingham to much respect.

Match was pretty even, their only threat is Pennant. Hyypia didn't enjoy playing with big forwards like a big Dunc or a Heskey. Other than that, we are playing with a handicap of one player...Igor Biscan who did zilch today! In fact we should be leading judging by the chances that came our way.

Can't see how we can field Igor v Laverkusen. He will be eaten alive. I would assume Smicer will be introduced at the start of second half (please Rafa...no more Biscan!) or we will forever be chasing games against hard working but lesser oppostitions.

Knowing that if we win, Gerrard will score the winner, and alll the papers will scream Liverpool is a one man team...... again.

You can't play 4-5-1 with Gerrard,Hamann and Biscan. Without Alonso they can't dictate the passing game. Gerrard is another planet, Biscan is sh1t and Hamann is a defencive midfielder. None of them have the ability to pass effeciently as Alonso. We miss the X-Factor.
