I had a defective one of these shirts that actually had the colours on the badge the wrong way around - it was a green shield with white writing, either way it's still a fookin' awful shirt and I hope Adidas don't resurrect anything like this colour when they take over.

I love those Hitachi and pre-Hitachi kits (reminds me of the time when I first fell in love with this club)...anyone knows where I can hunt one down...?

Some genuine pieces I DO see, but wonder if moderators / house rules here don't allow me to post the ebay links?! :p

Manhattan's Choices

The Best

Image

This is my favourite home shirt. The only thing I don't like about it is the very heavy collar and the overcomplicated crest. But besides that, I think it's excellent. I used this kit as a template for designing my own ideal LFC home kit. I especially like the Adidas stripes and the letter/number font on the back of the shirt. Nice shade of red too.

My favourite away shirt. There would be a few things here and there that I would alter slightly, but for the most part, this kit is awesome, and very distinctive. It keeps the Carlsberg green, but uses it in a very striking way. In 1996, those Mancs cheated and stole the FA Cup, but in terms of fashion, we totally smoked 'em. After all, you can't go wrong wearing bright white suits with sunglasses, then green and white quartered shirts.

The Worst

Image

One time, Manhattan went to Greece and ate something he shouldn't have. Then Manhattan made the mistake of going on a sea excursion to some godforsaken cave. During the trip, Manhattan proceeded to vomit all over the boat. The colour of the vomit resembled the above football shirt.

I couldn't possibly make a guess, I wouldn't know where to start, odd's on I'd pay over the top for a collection like that in an auction lol.

So come on, roughly how much would it cost? I understand of you don't want to tell me though.
