Reports today claim that Liverpool are in talks with 'LG Electronics' with a view to the global company taking over from Carlsberg as the club's sponsors if the 12-year long association comes to an end next year as has been suggested.
LG's most recent partnerships has seen them work with and sponsor the national football teams of Australia (1999 > 2002), Korea (2001 > 2003), France (2000 > 2004), Russia (2002 > 2006) and Iraq (2004 > 2006). They also sponsored this year's Copa America Tournament and are the club sponsors of Brazilian outfit Sao Paulo.
