Liverpool - everton - I am a norwegian needing help

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby sandnes1985 » Tue Dec 07, 2004 1:33 am

Hi everyone! I am planning a trip to England in March with my cousin. We want to go wednesday the 16th of March and watch Forest - Leeds the 16th and Liverpool - Everton the 19th. Do you know if there will be a big problem getting tickets to the L'pool game? Could anybody on here help me? Any info on ticket prices, how long it will take to drive from London to Nottingham, Nottingham to Liverpool and Liverpool to London (we are planning to loan a car), cheap hotels, etc will be greatly appreciated, as I have never been in England before. Would be great if you either wrote some info on here or send me a pm or mail to sandnes1985@hotmail.com.
Feel free to add me to your msn-contacts aswell.
Thanks

Hi Tor,

Try the credit card line for tickets: 0870 220 2151

Cheap(ish) hotels in Liverpool city centre: IBIS, Dolby, Travel Inn, Travelodge, Holiday Inn Express, you need to book as early as you can

Driving in England can be a bloody nightmare, depending what time of day you travel. I would say London-Nottingham allow about 3h30mins, Nottingham-Liverpool 2h30mins, then Liverpool-London about 4h30mins (depending on where in London you need to get to). Those times should give you enough time to take it easy

Hope this helps
Woolly :)

I'm going over for the Newcastle game on Sunday week.  I've tried the credit card ticket line but it's impossible to get through.  A this stage i'll be happy to pay a tout for a ticket.  How much do you reckon it'll cost me......double the real price ???

call the ticket enquiries line on 0870 220 2345. you will need to put + 44 (uk code) and 151 (liverpool code) in front of that number or something if calling from overseas.

all the birds in our work get sh*gged there aswell so you may get lucky  :D  :Oo:
its not the chilli sauce on kebabs that give you ring-sting, its the actual meat. had one without chilli, and still had ring-sting. the chilli's only there to mask the nonsense they stuff inside that bread.

If you haven`t tried this I would recommend you to get in touch with the Liverpool Supporters Club, Scandinavian branch. Sabra Tours (have a link on Liverpool.no) arrange trips to every homegame, and if you want them to arrange the trip for you they provide you with tickets for the flight and the match and Hotel (at the Thistle Hotel on Albert Dock; A nice hotel btw). The Everton game is probably a "category A match" which will cost you about £600, that will also include a bussride to and from the airport in Mancehster. Add on another £40 or so and you will also have a guided tour and lunch at Anfield.

In Norwegian kroner, you will pay about 7000 for the trip all together; Flight, 3 nights at Thistle Hotel, Bus to and from Manchester, ticket for the match and a guided tour. A bit steep, but worth every pence.

I can guarantee you an unforgettable weekend
