Just been thinkin an i do think sometimes. Tuesday night .if Yossi is out due to this hamstring story, im sure Riera is suspended an all, an Insua is not included in the champions league squad were the h.ell does that leave us with options.
Looks like a start for Babel in my eyes who will have to seriously raise his game 100 per cent.

sh!t, hope Riera's not suspended n all!

I was thinking the same with regard to Yossi, could we see Arbeloa on the left and Aurelio left wing?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Well your right Nanny by the looks of thing Babel might get a game, but this game might suit him. Madrid need a goal and I can see the game being a slow burner with both teams starting defensively and I think the game will be 0-0 at halftime, but in the second half Real will have to make there move and one thing we are good at id counter attacking. That is were Babel comes in, he should be given a lot of space and hopefully he can make the most of it

Aurelio on the left with Dossena at full back and of course Kuyt on the right. Only a guess mind but rafa doesnt seem to like starting Babel in games !

Might be time to have a quick word with babel on the quiet and let him know an "unspecified" big club has been sniffing around him. Tell him the club would listen and the right price, pick him and watch him go.

There's one thing I'm absolutely convinced of with Babel. He's nowhere near so bad a player as he's looked at times this season. His problems are largely mental, in that he probably is mental :D If we can get him to actually be interested, to look like he's geed up for the occasion, I think that's half the battle. If he's up for it, I do believe he'll be able to do some damage against a team which is pressing on.

I think babel needs classroom based footballing lessons and then take the theory and put it in practise... Just dont understand why he always runs into traffic and then loses the balls always.. Fecking if you cant take defenders on then do the simple thing and pass the fecking ball..

Torres will play!!

Says the Marca headline.

In a classical example of Spanish journalism, Marca reveals the hole in Melwood they used to spy Liverpool and captured the photo.

When the starting eleven white tops were given Benitez gave one both to Torres and Gerrard so both of them will play.

In the top left corner you can see the hole the journo used.

In smaller headlines you can read:

"Gerrard will be El Niño's bodyguard again" (that is he'll play behind him)

"Juande will make no experiments, he'll play the best eleven"

"Watch out Juande, Rafa is working obsesivelly on strategy (set pieces)"

"Babel will play, as Benayoun is almost discarded".

I predict babel will have a great game if he starts and you can quote me on that  :)

Perhaps he is trying to work a role, he is quick and thinks he can dribble and perhaps you are asking him to be something he isn't. Truth may be he simply isn't up to it, but I've read criticism of Kuyt not being able to beat his marker and you're criticising Babel for trying.

His passing is worse than his dribbling, let's face it whatever he does is likely to end up with possession given away!

lets hope if lucas plays any part that he gets cheered. I'm with Big Mick on Babel though, he is a good player who has mental problems. Just pass the ball lad and run into space. Football ain't hard. My teamprediction is:

                                        Reina
Arbeloa      Carra             Skrtel           Aurelio

                     Alonso         Mascherano

Kuyt                        Gerrard                  Babel

                               N-gog

Subs: Torres, Lucas, Hyypia, El-zhar, Dossena

I dont think nando will be ready but will go on bench to make madrid think.
