other one was started before this one was and discusses BOTH legs of the madrid tie so i dont really understand the need for a new thread and all... its not a big deal and all but the way the mods have been merging threads left, right and center, you'd expect them to want to keep just ONE thread per match...

im sure whoever it is who started this thread wouldnt/shoulldnt mind his thread being merged into Judge's thread... not like much effort was put into the starting post or anything

Sorry Judge but I'm invoking a one-thread per match policy. Too many grumbles last year when we experimented with a single thread for both legs of the tie. I'm going to lock this now and request that we actually focus on the game rather than on the politics of thread making.

I think it's a bit dangerous that some are assuming that we're going to go through, we could easily lose to these guys at home

I'm staying cautious but I hope we can defend really well and snatch another win, our defending has been terrible lately though, must improve

I am feeling a 1-1. 1-0 up through Torres and with real madrid equalising in the 80th minute a very nervy last 10!

The optimistic me is feeling a 3-1 with Torres bagging 2 and kuyt getting 1.
