FFS we could have practically played without a defence tonight we've been that good!
Fighting for every ball all over the pitch,attacking in numbers..we have been superb!

I think we've been absolutely excellent from the first whistle. We've played at a really high tempo which I always think suits us best, and although the penalty wasn't one, we are well worth being 2-0 up IMHO. Aside from the odd little flash of something, Madrid have confirmed my impression from the first game that they wouldn't get into the top four in the Premiership (sorry Sabre but that's the way I see it).

The stand out for them on the night is Wesley Sneider who looks like an excellent player to me. I also though Raul's little bring down was sublim (even if he did take the ball of Ramos's foot) and Higuin's little turn was handy too. Not much else though.

For us, pretty much everyone has played well from I've seen. The game is over, and just about our only worry is that masherano doesn't get himself sent off. It was the second time he had lashed the ball away after the whisetle had blown, and IMHO it was a good spot by the ref and he deserved to get booked. He needs to big time calm himself down. Another slight worry will be if the officials have seen the video of the penalty.Obviously it was mistakenly awarded, and I've no doubt Madrid will be flinging themselves to the ground in the area at every opportunity in order to get a bit of payback.

I don't think it'll work though. We ought to have the luxury of taking Gerrard and Torres off and saving them for the Man Utd game before too much of the second half has passed.

Oh give it a rest mate, can't we all just be happy that we are playing some awesome football. Try and rise above it just for one day, please.

That first half brought tears to my eye's my GF was like why are you crying I said This is best football I seen us play for 6 years.

I am over joyed total football we made one of greatest teams in world over the years look like school kids.

lol away goal rule isn't rocket sciences who ever gets more away goals when scores are level wins and if they same it goes extra time then pens.
