An honest days work. Keep their noses down and work hard for it. Glad for the win but damn those injuries. So are we gonna see more of Gerrard-Zenden partnership in the middle then? Anyone fancy Rafa playing Reina  in the middle? I'm joking of cos but the pass was class for the Gerrard's goal. Felt like i was watching a game of pinball. Great to see Pepe back to his old self.

Good performance.

Shame about the three freak injuries.

Hopefully they'll recover soon.

Ronald Koeman on Gerro:

"The quality of Gerrard was outstanding, it was an excellent midfield performance and was something we could not match."

since we have sealed up the top spot in the group, will Rafa field a younger "weaker" squad when we play Gala?  also I am unsure as to how the knockout stage of champions league is drawn? is it a draw with all the top spots going against random 2nd spots or is it already determined that that the top team in group  C plays the 2nd spot from Group D?

I think it will be a Zenden-Gerrard partnership, i fancy him playing 4-3-3 for the next game possibly?

I think it goes like this Joe

a) Clubs from the same association must not be drawn against each other,
b) The winners and runners-up of the same group must not be drawn against each other,
c) The group winners must not be drawn against each other,
d) The runners up must not be drawn against each other,
e) The runners up must play the first leg at home.
The group winners are seeded above the runners-up.

Good performance and a great result . PSV are no mugs and yet they hardly troubled us . Pity about Xabi but the injuries to Gonzalez and Pennant will hopefully give us more of  "Lil' Louie" Garcia .(every cloud has a silver lining  :D )

Wasn't impressed by that performance I have to say....PSV are about as impressive as a Sunday league team. 18 wins on the trot - sounds like Dutch football is just a joy to watch - NOT !! Stiil every win counts...

I'm not sure if the same country thing applies to the knock out stages. But i agree with the rest Woof

We have to be honest we are playing crap football at the moment. Our creativity and delivery in the final third is so poor.  But on a positive we can put aside the champions league now try and concentrate on improving our league away form.

I think it does for the 2nd round, but not from then on.

Let's just hope Sh!tski finish 2nd, we could do without the possibility of Barca in round 2.
