The problem is Carlsberg (or anybody else) would have a real issue with sponsering a team who sold replica shirts free from their advertising, we'd likely get a lot less from them.
However, I agree totally that it looks far better, in fact I mentioned it to my girlfriend today when the match was on. She said that it should be possible to get the carlsberg off the shirt with boiling water and a cloth or something similar; of course unless you have a felt name and number from one of the shops or a blank shirt at the back it might be dangerous. And you might end up ruining your shirt anyway, but she reckons is possible, even easy to get Carlsberg off the front if you wanted to.
Edit: Dangerous in the sense that you might ruin the shirt. Also I assume no responsibilty for any ruined shirts that might happen as a result of trying this. In fact thinking about it, even if you got the logo off totally wouldn't the shirt underneath most likely be a different shade of red - and look stupid. If they actually sold them like that I for one would buy one.
