League gone... - Where do we go from here ?

Focus on the champions league, even if it means finishing 4th!

2005 team wasn't even put together by rafa if you look at this way ! Longer rafa has had with team worse we have got.

2005 we won CL
2006 FA cup
2007 CL final
2008 nothing
2009 prob nothing agian and maybe lost 7 poin lead to win prem.

So how has rafa improved the team I say he made it even worse.

chill mate...

to some, going from a champions league winning side to a side winning nothing and fighting for a champs league spot more often than not isnt exactly progress so calling him a bastrd and a waste of space without explaining yourself isnt probably the best way to go about things...

2005 we won the champions league and didn't finish the domestic league anywhere close to the top.

2009 we could still win the champions league and mathmatically we're still in shout of the top spot. If not, we're closer than ever. We also have Torres playing for us which is more than we had back then.

so, sorry for not explaining but I think that pretty much concludes that we have made progress since 2005.

fair enough i wasnt disagreeing with you.. just thought you were pretty harsh on the lad...

Istanbul was one with Gh squad of players mostly.

And the Champions league final we lost was with Rafa's.

Is he really the great one all the pro Rafa's think :D

ok i wanna sack the manager too. but who have we got on the sidelines?
1) Martin O'Neil - risky perhaps another 5 years wasted.
2) Kenny dalglish - out of the game too long, but i want to believe.
3) jose mourinho - we can win the league but we will lose our tradition

I'd give Rafa one more season.

Reason:

He has bitched about transfers forever, and this summer he won't have Parry in the way, and supposedly then he can sign who he wants.

So lets see how he does with that in mind.

If he goes now we get a new manager who wants his own players, and the squad breaks up, and we have two seasons of transition.

We've seen signs this year that we can beat anyone, but b@lls it up as usual vs the :censored: teams.

One more year Rafa....spend (and sell) wisely, and try to win the league next year.  if not, time for a change.

Liverpool will finish the rest of the season unbeaten and come within a whisker of the title
Only for people to rue bad luck and blame anything else except Rafa
He will stay and we will go through it all again next season...
