Most of us thought we'd beat Man City at home last season and most of us thought we'd beat Charlatan yesterday.........

All I her is "champions league this and champions league that" 4th place is bollox, I wouldn't bet on winning the qualifier (newcastle lost this year) and teams like Basle are too good for Liverpool.

Just telling it like it is. SACK THAT ba#ta#d AND DROWN HESKEY.

Man UTD will beat us and that will be the end of our CL ambitions.

After that we'll do well to hold onto 5th place.

Yep , can't see us beating Utd the way we are playing.

We could lose to any of those teams at the moment. (Actually we could lose to ALL of those teams the way we are playing!).
Our record against teams in the top half of the table is not exactly great either. Doesn't look good  :(

Looking at Liverpools results this season

"Against the top 10 teams in the premiership (to Southampton) - we have got 14 points from 15 games - Average .95 points. Against the bottom 9 teams - we have got 34 from 18 games - average 1.9 points.

Apart from the odd freak good result - beating Chelsea, Fulham and Aston Villa away, we are rubbish against the top ten - we have played 7 of the top 10 at anfield and won 1 drawn 1 and lost 5

Against the bottom 9 we are very consistant - we win at home (23 points from 27) and draw away (11 from 27) Our last 5 games are all against top 10 teams and based on our average we will score 5 points.

This means we will finish 6th probably about 5 points behind Newcastle in 4th"

great :(

we've lost at home to manure, arsenal, chelsea, charlton and soton. we should have beat arsenal and shouldn't have lost to the chelsea or arsenal because in all three we played some good stuff. however ths saints and charlton games were awful. you look at the "this is anfield" sign and think so what these days.

Shouldn't have lost at home to Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea?? We we missing Owen for the united game, Hamann and Gerrard for the Chelsea game.

The fact is you are saying we played good stuff. We didn't we lost.

That is not and never will be "good stuff". "good stuff" is winning. NOT LOSING!!!!

And for all you know we may have lost those games with or without those players.
