Kuyt - Is there any fee big enough?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Maybe he'll come back from the Euros a new man and be the perfect partner for Torres.
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Hopefully he will come back better, but I'd give that spot to Babel and Crouch before Kuyt.  He can do much more in other roles.

Edit-

Kuyt taken off, but what amazing subs.  The 2 he just brough on, assist and a goal.

Kuyt's football receives more praises in Spanish forums than in the Liverpool Football Club's Newkit.  :)

Hi game has improved a lot in the last 6 months and he seems to be getting over the well documented death of his father.

I was one of his biggest critics and labeled him no more than a long distant runner with the first touch of Bambi, but ill be the first to hold my hand up and say that he has proved me very wrong and to be honest I'm very glad he is in our team

Agreed there Dundalk , i was pretty critical of him last season , deservedly so imo ,but he has played alot better since January . He does seem to have recovered some form . So credit where it's due. Good on the lad.

Netherlands seem unstoppable right now, embarrassing team after team.

Yep, and the work donkey Kuyt plays for a squad that has lots of quality.

He might not be a 20 goal striker, but his work is underrated.

The way I see it is, Netherlands are going into the Group C/D finals.  Against the winner of Spain vs Italy/France.

I do beleive Spain can beat these teams, but Torres and Villa would have a tough match against the Netherlands.  And Spain is known for doing poor in the bigger matches.  Not so much the offense that bothers me, but the defense is shaky.

Whoops, off topic  :D

Kuyt is a player who brings balance in every squad.
Besides his scoring ability, it's just a great player.
Not with the technique of the likes of a Robben or Van Persie.
But just as big a factor in the squad.

He wont be like a new one, he'll be like the one of the latter half of the season gone, only with more respect given to him and without him being at fault for every bad result or poor performance the team gives.

I dont think we need to get too carried away. He was always a very good player indeed, not top class, but a very good one and he works hard for the team.

When Rafa shifted him to the right he regained his form and started playing really well after january. He is hitting his best form, and I hope he keeps it that way for us next season.

Really happy he scored today, always gives a 100%.
