I agree to an extent. He has been excellent in the short term. But thats because he has so much experience and PL experience too.
Im hoping Sakho, Llori and Alberto will be excellent signings too once they get settled in the country / league. They're obviously a bit younger than kolo and in a new league in a new country so have less chance of impressing straight off the bat.

Mignolet has been fantastic too.

A great player. His attitude and professionalism have made the loss of Carra much easier to take. Now...if we can get him to persaude is brother...

Tiago Llori will be an immense player once he breaks through, I just hope it's for us and not some other team.

I can't believe we didn't go for him after the world cup in 2006. It was blatently obvious then when he was at Olympiakos what a player he was. Sure I got slagged off for wanting him here aswell by SouthCoastShankley and one or two others...

An absolute beast of a player, big, quick, strong, can tackle, can head, can dribble and f*ck me can the lad spot a ball! Free kicks aren't bad either.

Best midfield player in the league for me.

Thought it was a shrewd pickup with retirement of Carra when we got him in off season.
