To be honest I have no faith in Harry anymore. I need a full season of great displays before I will change my opinion of him. He has a long way to go for that. I would rather anyone else in that position that has heart.

Cant see the point in playin an uncomitted player in the biggest game we've had in 20 years, stick with Riise and let Kewell beg for a place.
He was a waste of space in the cup final against chelsea and has been for a long time.

I don't really think that Kewell should start. Not because he is supposedly not commited or not match fit, but becuase I don't think he will do a better job than Riise, he wasnt doing anything earlier in the season, and Riise has come in and done a good job on the left.

at least him being on the bench will add a bit of a quality if we desperately need it. it gives another dimension to the left wing if he comes on. seriously, kewell looks like pellegrino/josemi on the second pic.

Told ya he waxs in the squad tomorrow :;):

From .tv

KEWELL BACK TO BOLSTER REDS EURO SQUAD
Mark Platt 26 April 2005
Harry Kewell has been named in the Liverpool squad for the Champions League semi-final first leg against Chelsea, while Rafael Benitez is hopeful that Milan Baros, Luis Garcia and Xabi Alonso will all be fit to play.
Baros limped out of the action at Selhurst Park on Saturday with a knee injury, while the Garcia and Alonso both sat out the defeat against Crystal Palace.

Benitez confirmed today that he expects all three to be at his disposal for the trip to Stamford Bridge and also revealed that Harry Kewell will return to the squad for the first time since the Carling Cup Final in February.

"Baros, Garcia and Alonso will be fit I hope. They will all travel, as will Kewell who is also in the squad," said the Reds boss.

"Harry is not one hundred per cent. He couldn't play a full 90 minutes, or maybe even 45, but he could play half an hour for sure. He's been working hard for the past month, is a good player and wants to play. This is a boost for us."

Youngster John Welsh and Darren Potter are not in the squad that will fly down to London this afternoon. Both are involved in the reserve game at Manchester City tonight.

The Reds will train at Stamford Bridge later this evening.

I don't see how Kewell can just walk back into the squad when Rafa was p1ssed off with his lack of commitment ???

he will only be on the bench , but it might give JAR and Traore a kick up the @rse knowing they will be subbed for him if they arnt doing the bizz, a lazy harry kewell on the bench is better than nothing and its more of our walking wounded back thats better for everyone.

Riise has tortured Glen Johnson on the left flank in the last couple of games, why bring in Harry.
