Nice one.

Imagine rafa telling him that and then seeing kewell hopping all around the pitch on one leg.

Still, I think this operation will get harry back into form.

If not...

Maybe we can use all the saved money to get duff from chelsea.  :D

Spot on man ... the bloke (Kewell) is a legend in his own mind. I don't like picking on any of our players but my patience has run out with him ... all he's done since he joined us is get injured, put on weight and collect his wages ....

Guys, be proud...now we have our very own sick note.

Is it a coincidence that Kewell, our sick note, is also a winger like the original sick note, Darren Anderton?

The guy's a meatball, I remember going to the Man city game at the start of last season at Anfield thinking, Kewell-new season, lets see what he can do. I was even willing to forgive him for the all but two good performances under the houllier, the season before.

he was sooo poor it was untrue, easily disposessed, no skill vision of jack s**t.

Harry, take as long as you like, you aint got what it takes to play for LFC, you puss*y. you are a bottle boy. whether injured or not, he is of no loss to lfc, only in the accounts/payroll each month as a sure LOSS! relief on the 3m a year wage bill he is costing LFC beckons by his sale!

Zended is gonna take his place very soon in the EPL garcia on the right , gonzales too, and I can see harry on the bench a lot.
the only thing I can give Kewell credit for Im afraid is....Ok he has a fit Missus!

Every player gets niggles, but some play through the lesser ones.  If he played with passion when he was fit, he'd be forgiven, but he never has.  How someone so lazy can give himself a hernia, I'll never know!

Would've saved us over a million last season alone .   :(

Ummm....paid £1M to eat grapes and drink Lucazade all day!!!

thats a conservative effort.

kewells a waster, and i wish he'd never been signed for lfc to be honest, steven beck of TNS (an lfc fan), had been noted saying that some of the players just pick up wages, and he's (kewells) one of them.

i know he appeals to lady lfc fans, but i'd rather him be able to last 90 mins and play at least 40 some games with skill. so outta those 3 things, he only manages my first suggestions - appeals to the ladies.

he should have his own tv series on bbc 2: ''can play wont play''

I just saw a news report on the BBC.

Kewell is injured again.

He sprained his tongue telling people how Gary Lineker has been bullying him.

Most of you pin heads need to ensure your brains are in gear before you run off at the mouth. Never have a I heard such a lot of drivel in all my born days.

Have any of you thought LFC (and their medical staff) might have some responsibility in all of this. A hernia (do we make an assumption here and say it's an inguinal hernia??) is a serious problem that requires surgical intervention. It is not something that should be taken lightly.

Why hasn't the LFC medical staff reviewed Kewell's condition prior to this?? He was under the knife only a few weeks ago, why wasn't the problem rectified then?? Who is the LFC medico?? He's the guy who needs the bollicking, not Kewell.

You guys need to take a big deep breath and rather than arguing from a basis of ignorance (something a lot of you seem admirably qualified in doing, which makes you nothing more than a lot of hicktown rednecks), give the lad a few weeks to recouperate and then get out on the park and prove himself.

I've never been a Kewell fan but I despise people who babble on about things they know nothing about. Grow up!!! :veryangry  :veryangry  :veryangry  :veryangry

First thing's first. It is not Kewell's injuries that are the problem, it's his p!sspoor attitude that ticks me off. Xabi Alonso broke his ankle against Chelsea and we were told that he wouldn't re-apear until the new season, but he fought hard and showed tremendous dedication in physio to be around for the Juve games. As for Djibril Cisse, now there's determination, he could have lost his funking leg, but he dusted himself off and got back on his horse and his passion for the game and our EXCELLENT physios got him back to score those two on the last day of the season.

Harry Kewell will stub his two and take three weeks off, and probably demand a free trip to the Seychelles to recouperate. Like I said earlier, you don't find Armani in this bargain basement. £5m was too much and all the Leeds fans are laughin their merry little heads off at the saps who, under the sage like guidence of Gerard "he's the next Zidane/let's buy all the players Arsene Wenger doesn't want" Houllier bought this lump and relieved them of his wages.

He has so many different parts of his body to clutch now, he's set for life. Unlike someone like Luis Garcia who will play through the pain, if Harry so much as sneezes, he can just clutch his knee/thigh/groin/back/shoulder/neck/foot/ankle/ribs/head/ :censored:/wrist or hand and hobble off to go and sit down with a cup of tea and watch the free money roll in.

If he wants to leave, I'll even hold the door open for him and give him a wave to send him on his merry way. I still hope he can prove me wrong this season, but I won't get my hopes up.

Since signing him in July 2003...

He's made only 79 appearances
His wages over the period total over £6.2m
Per appearance (note: NOT all full 90 mins), this comes to £78,481 per game he's played.
With only 12 goals to his name for the club, the club have forked out over half a mill PER GOAL.

Get well soon, and pull your f**king finger out while you're at it. :D
