Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

We will never see the leeds utd Kewell - and I think he lost his hunger long ago. I'd happily see him go.

He'll probably play in the CL final for 20 minutes (like last time and last seasons FA cup final), get an injury when we are at least 2 goals down, his replacement will turn the game , we'll win and Harry gets another medal.

Came on in the 55th minute set up a goal, had a good second half apparently beat the mini bitters 3-1.

Probably wouldnt be any worst than Gonzales no offence to the kid but he has been totally out of his depth.
Kewell could possibly make the bench?

If Kewel is ready to play for even 45 minutes, and I had a choice of Zenden, Gonzalez, and Riise on that side, I know who I'd play first.

He's the best we've got for the left, like it or not. Even if he isn't really 100%.

I dont honestly feel we can gamble on someone who has been out for so long. Then again if it goes to extra time.....:D

Hadn't he been out for a while before the final 2 years ago?

He played in Liverpools last league game of the season against Villa (last match before final) but came off after half time.

Might as well put him on the bench, you are allowed 7 people.  One thing I am interested in is how Harry will be treated this summer.  Will he rest this summer despite not playing any football in nearly a year and then begin training when everybody else does?  Will he be sold because he can't prove that he can stay fit?  I say try and loan him to a league that plays in the summer (MLS) so he can get some competitive games in him and he can start next season without being rusty.
