The play was wonderful... the best ive seen in a long time. Not just great results.. great performances. Unfortunately i was at the next game (at home to Spurs) when he changed the team (to much criticism) and put in Andy Carroll.. the attack went to pieces, we hardly got a kick and were played off the pitch at Anfield.

Why haven't you included the stuffing we gave Man City just before those results ?

yeah i`m sure that was all down to andy, the fact that they had beaten us 4 times in the previous 5 meetings had sod all to do with it i suppose.

were those not our best three performances under Kenny?

Indeed they were... the big chump came into the team in the next game (to much criticism) in what was a Europa League decider.. and our previously brilliantly functioning attack was destroyed by the limited big fellas introduction. Seeing him up close you realise just how poor he is. Hes a clogger.

why was his introduction criticised???

Would Gerrard coming back into the team have been criticised? Suarez?

Why was Andy Carrolls introduction into a team that had been outstanding in attack in the previous three games, criticised??

Becauses hes a poor player.

Why have you not mentioned us thumping Man City 10 days before ? I know why - because Carroll started and scored twice and that doesn't fit into your opinion.

Do you realise we once again put Carroll back to the bench and we lose - the defence ***** up tonight and here you are critisizing Carroll once again

Though tonight's result was totally unacceptable, Dalglish's first full season in charge is similar to that of Rafa's first full season in 2004/05. Experimentation & testing, rotating each game (though not as much as Rafa), questionable selection choice & tactics, and preference for silverware in cup competitions (which almost landed us the double in 2005) (the Carling Cup eluded us). If the board decide to keep Dalglish based on silverware collected this season (and I hope we do win the FA Cup), then Dalgish has a massive building exercise this summer to ensure this season's poor league form was a one off & never happens again.

It's simply not good enough and kenny needs to go. As much as I wanted rafa out last time I'd be willing to give him another go. He is by far the best manager we've had in the last 20 years and given a decent amount of money to spend, like kenny had, I'm sure he could assemble a brilliant team, just think how close we were with him before tw1t and tw@t took over.

"the Reds struggled and stuttered to a first home league defeat under the Scot. A laboured Liverpool rarely looked like adding to their 13 goals in their previous three games as Spurs eased to their first league win at Anfield since August 1993"

attack... went.. to ... pieces. The movement non existant, almost no linking up at all (nothing like the three previous games when the big chump wasnt there)

Rafa's first season was different, in the sense it was widely accepted his team of misfits were from the Houllier era. That's why he wasn't attacked and that's why he was given time.  Fans are losing patience with Kenny because the misfits are HIS SIGNINGS...and after more than a year in the job, he's still lacking any vision when it comes to tactics, style or starting 11.

Yes it certainly is worrying.
Another thing thats just as worrying are those who are calling for Dalglish's head.
It might be disgraceful that we gave up a 2-0 lead and lost 3-2 (I was working so I havent seen the match) but its even more disgraceful that some are actually overjoyed that they can stick the knife in KKs back for what happened tonight.
We dont need to be constantly reminded how much he has spent, or how much Carroll cost, or how many times weve hit the woodwork. We know all these things. What we need to be doing is stop talking like chelsea pr'icks and calling for our manager to be sacked.
We lost. Get over it. We may not come 4th. Get over it. We might not win the FA cup. Get over it. Show some support you w@nkers.
Part of me honestly would accept relegation to get rid of some of these glory hunting, arrogant, ignorant cu'nts

"Much the better side, the visitors went close to scoring again on a couple of occasions. Yet, for all that Tottenham played with dash and dare, the side they faced was a pale imitation of the one that had dismantled Fulham 5-2 at Craven Cottage six days earlier. With Andy Carroll replacing the hamstrung Raul Meireles, Liverpool were predictable and far too eager to play long balls. Carroll, for his part, looked woefully short of match practice, lumbering into areas where he was never a threat"

this is another one of those recent games where carroll doesnt start and we end up having a poor result, like united, sunderland, arsenal (and now QPR).
it doesnt matter to DC if he started or not, poor result = opportunity to have a go at carroll

Hmm, so do you not want success then, do you genuinely never think change can be a good thing, should we always keep the status quo. Imagine if more peopel thought like you there'd never be any progress in the world, neevr any inventions, we'd still be cavemen.
I don't think anyone is happy at the result but some people realise that sometimes you need to make changes if you want to improve and kenny was always a stop gap measure, and much thanks he deserves.
