from RAWK

Following the withdrawal of Kelvin McKenzie from Question Time tomorrow, his next media appearance is on 5 Live on Christmas Day.

I think we should contact 5 Live and advise them that this is not a good idea.

Just putting this up as is stands to make a start.  Specific details and contacts to follow:

If anyone wants to contact the BBC about their support for Mr MacKenzie and their continuing to give him air-time, you can make a complaint here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/

Or alternatively you can write to or contact Points of View by emailing pov@bbc.co.uk or telephone: 0870 908 3199.
====================================

It appears Mr MacKenzie has been commissioned to present a program on BBC Radio 5 Live on Christmas Day (of all days.)

Very disappointing isnt it. Well at least we have 3 weeks to raise the matter with the BBC. Unlikely it would get pulled from the schedule, but wouldnt it be brilliant if it did.

"All I said was 'bring me the head of Kelvin McKenzie, which would be one instance when meat would not be murder, if it was on a plate."

The day he dies cannot come soon enough. I will lodge a billion complaints if it means he is kept off the airwaves and television.

The lads and lasses over at RAWK are all sending complaints about this to the beeb. I've sent my complaint and I'd strenuously urge everybody on here to do the same. It's an outrage that this get is still being given a platform of the highest order to pedal his filth from.

The complaints that we send should not contain too much swearing. We need to appear concise and in control otherwise the complaint will not be taken seriously. I myself have sent in an E-Mail stating that unless Mackenzie is taken off air then myself, as well as many friends, will no longer tune into the show anymore. I have also had my friends send similar E-Mails and letters that are all written in a way that looks mroe serious and less a 'spur of the moment' type affair.

If we really wanna make sure this snivvelling c.nut (well put charmless man!!!) does not get any air time then lets do it properly, not make it look like something a drunk has sent in.

(im not saying thats what anyone is doing, heck i even spellchecked the email i sent!!!)

so my "kelvin ya bashhtarddd"  e mail wont work  :D

actually i have emailed and my email is calm and well thought out, pointing out the BBC by allowing this idiot air time are condoning his comments about hillsborough, the matter has not been put to bed by any chalk with his false apology and was raised himeself recently by his comments as an after dinner speaker.

i have also said how can the BBC expect to be taken seriously when they invite the editor of what is basically an adult comic to present a serious news show. the guy is an admitted liar having changed his stance now twice over hillsborough.

I only put one swear word in my email, I felt it was needed, I've posted the link around to a lot of forums, has anyone posted it on bluekipper or other Everton forums? I'm sure they'll be more than happy to lodge complaints.

MacKenzie invited to visit Liverpool

Dec 7 2006

Liverpool Echo

FORMER Sun editor Kelvin MacKenzie is being invited to Liverpool to see the impact of his comments about the Hillsborough disaster.

MacKenzie claimed last week that the newspaper's vile allegations against Reds fans were correct, six weeks after admitting the coverage was untrue.

The accusations included claims that supporters were drunk, urinated on the bodies and stole wallets from the corpses.

Ninety-six Liverpool fans died at the FA Cup semi-final in 1989.

At a meeting last night, councillors said they want MacKenzie to come to Liverpool to discuss his views.
