Keane: liverpool can lift the title

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I’ve always liked and respected Roy Keane as a player and he seems like a decent man too, despite several incidents which have had rather negative repercussions on his career. These aside, he was a fantastic player and has matured into a skilled and competent manager, it’s pleasing to see him in management.

I hope Sunderland gives the Liverpool lads a match tomorrow and I hope to see them become an accomplished side in the league.

i suppose he`s got to choose his words carefully and thats fair enough.

To be honest, I didn't read carefully his words and you're right. Anyhow, no matter what are the words of a coach before a game, kind or Mourinho-esque, the attitude of Liverpool must be hostile, willing to win the premiership and recover a title that should be again back in Liverpool.

If Roy kean is anything it's honest and to the point i think he is saying what alot of people might secretly be thinking that we are real contenders now.

Even if he is trying to get his players up for the game, he would make more enemies with his old team by saying this if it was just for that.

I feel he speak the truth

This is the latest in a stream of banal, pointless and uninspiring threads by the same poster. Despite everything, the Kuyt/Crouch one got off the ground but I would ask "MightyLFC" to consider carefully before scatter gunning similar threads. Repeatedly starting such discussions is normally the work of a wind-up-merchant or a complete numpty, either way it's no way to go through life.

Roy Keane is a bitter :censored: so why would he praise Liverpool
Complete Bull :censored:.

Keane bitter? Most certainly not. Keane is one of the few United players I respect. His disire to win and compete was and still is second to none. It's something we could have done with for many a year, and is a big reason why United have been so succesful. You never heard of Fergie talk down to Keane because Keane would have simply told him to f*ck off.Credit where it's due: Keane has been a legend to the English game.
