Liverpool really need a new striker because Baros is ****** (for Liverpool) he has been given his oppertunity to show what he can do... He is not going to replace Owen I'd rather have Heskey play with Cisse...

Today against Bolton he did ****** and even when Cisse came on and he had a strike partner he still did ******...

A new striker is priority and Shearer would be good but Im not sure about Mista...

Maybe get into the scrap to sign Rooney or get Bellamy because he seems to be arguing with Robson...

Or Defoe who is doing class and is only getting better...

Defoe is doing to well for tottenham to sell... Rooney is too expensive but i can see bellamy as a viable option.. bit injury prone though.

Shearers gotta be the one for me. It would be good for us and him hes exactly what we need and he can have at least one more season in the champs league. If its a big name it obviously must have more than 10 letters surely? That narrows it down a bit!!!!
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

Shearer is a class player, but aged 33 we would probably only get a year out of him.

On top of that the geordies would want a couple of million for him.

Not sure if he is the right player, but we definatly need an experienced striker .

I think Shearer would be a good option, ok he's 33 but look at how many goals he's scored over the last few seasons, he has always done it at the top level.

Their has been a few names banded around, Shearer, Mista, and Collocini are a few but personally I think we need a striker cos we aren't scoring enough goals for my liking ???

Age means nothing, he can still perform, maybe not as good as he was 5 years ago but good enough to replace pongolle.

Bellamy is a joke, thats another injury player. We don't need one of those, Kirkland and Smicer are enough.
