Would be good if he did come back. I always had a lot of admiration for Kenny when he was a player & a manager.

He's got a good footballing head.

He'd be better off not coming back... he's been out of football too long and it's better he leaves us with the memories instead of messing things up for himself (and us)

i would welcome king kenny back to the club in some capacity but not as manager. you never manage the same club twice, it never works. anyway, his recent record at newcastle (where he destroyed keegans team) and celtic (where he destroyed wim jansens team) proves that he's not the man.

i agree. i couldn't believe it. we were top of the league at the time and had just drawn 4-4 with everton in an fa cup replay. the timing was bizarre to say the least. we went on to win nothing that season.

the hardest thing was when Souness came in and sold 3-4 quality players    Then the bought Thomas!

i personally think we need a legend
we got a team, they know how to play
there is a time for managers and a time for legends, lets give the legend a go

Don't get me wrong guys. King Kenny is a legend BUT I always felt he left us when we needed him most of all. I know LFC went through some pretty severe stuff during his managership and I hold no grudge against him saying he couldn't take any more . He did however go just when the team was past it's peak and in need of a major overhaul, thats when he walked away. Thats ok too , I love the guy but I don't think we should have him back as mgr. :(

I really cant see Kenny coming back.We need to look forward, not back.It would only make sense if we needed someone to fill in for a while. But we dont because Martin O`Neill will be available on Monday.

As far as im aware O`Neills contract is up at the end of the season.Which would make him available to join Liverpool next week.
