Haven't seen him play befor. Saw a you tube clip where he put in a classy cross.

But is he as good as beckham in putting in crosses?

King Kenny has defended the signing of England Under-21 hero Jordan Henderson for approximately five times the price of a foreigner of similar ability. "Why do I want to buy over-priced English players instead of much cheaper, quality foreigners?" Dalglish asked, in that frightening rhetorical tone that Glaswegians learn at their mother's knee. "I'll tell you why. Look pal, to me English players are foreigners. So what's the difference? Also, there's a chance that the English might be able to understand a wee bit of what I'm saying. Not all of it obviously, not even Kelly can follow me all the time, but try getting a South American to understand Glaswegian. You cannae."

took it from facebook

I dunno if its a wind up or not, I'll check
:bowdown  :D

Henderson has a lot to prove and we are just hoping he can show us hes worth the money. You always want to be positive about your own club but if I had to be honest I still find it staggering we have paid in the region £50-55m for Henderson and Carroll. If we are truthful you would have been laughed off this forum for suggesting we would invest that kind of money in these two players a year ago. You can talk about the Torres money but we still paid it out and could have bought other players with it. Its an incredible leap of faith in these two boys no question about it.

Henderson is practically Seb Larsson except younger and not as good at taking freekicks . One moved for 20mill and the other for free.

Point is, despite his age and relative lack of experience, despite him needing some time to adapt to the new surrounding and training...etc For that fee he'll need to be ready and performing at a certain standard from day 1 .

Good article

I actually think it's a pretty poor article. Just Tomkins trying to be controversial to get noticed. The bloke gets absolutely demolished on Twitter on a daily basis for the dross he posts on his blogs.

the only part I actually agree with Tomkins is that the England performances are not an indicator to judge a player.

The kid has serious potential. This youtube clip I found shows some assists and goals of his from last season.

Not sure about the rest of you but he has a Gerrard-esque way about him. Not saying he is Gerrard's replacement just that he looks class

He doesn't look like a winger to me though... He looks more like a CM who can play on the wing... Just like gerrard...

Sorry kiddo, but not good enough...
Not his fault we spent so much on him, but if the amount spent dictates we start him when he's obviously nowhere near the level needed then its gotta be a huge fck up by the management !

He's not a wide player for a top club.. not in a million years..

Unless we start using him down the middle (which i am not suggesting by the way given the talent we have) then he's gotta be a squad player at best...
