Am trying to get paper mache effigys of the vermin made,so on july 4th march i WILL set them alight in Stanley park,as not to upset the stars and stripes brigade.but not doubt i will be arrested under some health and safety law,or a criminal/civil offence:blues:

Have contacted Graham who has inturn put me in conatct with a few of the Lads in NI about possible branches, we have a proposal for the following which i am keen to follow.

Belfast branch
North Coast Branch
Western Branch (Fermanagh and Tyrone)

If the numbers dont warrant it then we can revert to a single NI branch.

Spirit of shankly Sweden branch now live !




Hi all,

This is just to let you know that the idea SoS had of starting international local branches has started to pay off, with Sweden now launching its branch. May it be the first of many international local branches!

Joackim Lundberg has worked his little socks off to get this going, has pulled together over 50 members of SoS with Swedish membership, has helped form an initial Committee (confirmation of which will be subject to membership approval, according the rules of the Union) and we're now ready to push forward.

The provisional committee asked me to be Branch Rep (although of course that role is also subject to branch membership approval).

Just to repeat something about international branches - to form one, you need at least 50 people in your area to be already members of SoS. Joining an international branch does not entail paying any more membership than you already have done.

So, if anyone reading this is based in Sweden (you don't have to be Swedish!!) and has registered with SoS as living in Sweden, then you'll be hearing from us directly.

If you have not joined SoS yet and would like to be part of the Sweden Branch, please join SoS through their main page first - http://www.spiritofshankly.com/join.html - then, when your membership is confirmed, contact us so you can be included.

Igor, has anyone informed any news sites (bbc etc) of that page, that is a pretty powerful message there! be nice to see it on a bbc gallery to try and expand its exposure.
