YOu'd love Joaquin in a couple of weeks, he is the kind of Spaniard I'd like to see in LFC not Joaquin or Nuñez.

I believe you, at least you had a go.

Fu.ck me, if that's Joaquin not fully fit then what's he like when he's in top gear??

He's the kind of b*stard that pisses off soo much your left winger, that he eventually will do a harsh tackle and get a red card. I counted for dozens the times that dribbled in Anoeta last year. And he's quite difficult to predict, because he sometimes tries shots, with both feet, sometimes breaks through left, sometimes to right, it's just not the guy you can get used to  and learn his ways.

On the bad side, he's a bit lazy, and despite his abilities he should not be so "sucker" (Know this might me funny but in Spain, a "sucker" when it comes to football is the player who won't pass the ball to it's mate and do too many things on his own, how do you call that in english?)

I hadn't seen him play that much over the last couple of seasons but he's a big talent and no wonder a lot of big teams are interested.

He's got the skill, the dribbling ability and the pace to make a great winger and most impressively he's got unbelievable strength on the ball which I think would guarantee him to be a hit in the premiership.

I thought Traore did ok to contain him at times, but you have to remember the lad joaquin spent all day yesterday with his knee immobilised and was a major doubt to play.

Joaquin :bowdown

Feck him he is no SWP, Duff or Robben noway raffa is gona splash 30 million on him, let him go to Chelsea they are crying out for wingers arf arf :glare:

LOL, are you sure? I get the feeling you're mad at all the Betis diving.

Joaquín had an AVERAGE games tonight, like he was in 2nd gear, still carying an injury with 2 men on him most of the time.

He's up there with the absolute best of them and I would LOVE to see him in that wonderful red Liverpool shirt.

Joaquín was better than i thought. I said that he was someone who could not deliver the final ball well ....some days back... (which was true in the 1st half,) but in the 2nd half he was excellant...wouldn't mind him here....but certainly not for 30 million like CGGY said.

Not sure, but betis look like they are short of pacy defenders and a "world-class" striker....so.....  say 10 million + josemi + morientes for Joaquín...... how does that sound ?  :D

the boy got tricks.... unlike any of our current players. he's like a luis garcia that actually knows wat he's doing. definately a £20M+ player.

i thought he was cr'ap  :D

to tell the truth alot of their players started play acting and falling over many times to con the ref....it was getting boring them doing that.

but the good fact was that they squandered their chances when they got free kicks for nowt

Can't belive some of the people here, who've never seen him play previously, judge him purely on yesterdays' performance.

A fully fit Sanchez will dance around Del Horno when chelsea go there.

I must say, he was getting little confident in the 2nd half.  i got nervous everytime he got into the box, because you know sami and the likes wont be able to tackle him for the sake of risking a penalty, that in lies Sanchez influence on a match..

IMO we have a decent sqaud and now we can go for the odd indivdual here and there in the window, rather than then more squad turnaround benitez did in the summer.

If Moores can gave bentiez £11m for Simao he can easily give and extra £10m (£6m made from qualifying from the GS and £4m of his own) to bring this lad in January.

The only downside of Sanchex is people from Seville aren't usually good travellers (Reyes anyone?) so the weather changes and all that might not be good for him.
