Who would have thought we'd have Morientes playing for us? Or Alonso? And who thought we'd be in the Champions league final? - Very few of us. Rafa has worked miracles before, and if the lad doesn't want to play for us - so what? Let him go to Madrid. We'll just have to beat them when we next play 'em!!!!! Rafa will sort us out, and any player that doesn't want to play for us next season is a wimp who wants to sit about picking up their salaries - not win things! Up the 'pool!

Its too true. It would be a perfect fit for us and it surely will comes down to Real Madrid and us. I will keep my finger crossed as we have Rafa as the sales person. ALso, do you think Joaqin will not be tempted to play for us when he sees the opportunity to play along side Alonso, Gerard, Garcia, Carra, Nando and Cisse? Yea definetly world class, and i beleive the politics of Real Mdrid could possibly swing it our way, but realistically as he supports them they have the upper hand.
But I think Rafa is a great man manager and at talking to people....i mean dont we all just love hearing him speak?? its so intriguing 'For sure' (as rafa wud say!) is what i hope ur all thinking, so maybe its the same when players speak to him!!

Joaquin is one of the best wingers in the world at the moment. But Chelsea and Real can both outmuscle us financially and he supports Real Madrid (which is a spanish team so I doubt our spanish connections are going to help us there). I think he will be a Real Madrid player next season.

Today on bbc one the chairman of real betis sed'Raffael benitez was a good coach in spain and joaquin wud like to cum to liverpool over chelsea'but not real madrid(the team he supports might be be hard to lurk him over to liverpool.If happens great.Is he better than Ronaldo(man u one not brazillian one)If so defintelly get him.

a great player and a sign of what we could attract if we win the Champions league. He would be a class winger and 'if' Kewell gets back to his best we would have 2 wingers to compete with Chelsea...in fact it could be the best midfield in Europe:

Unrealistic target according to most of you every time i've mentioned the lad.

We're in the champions league final.

We have an amazing club history.

We have a great SPANISH manager.

We have one of SPAINS BEST central midfielders and one of there best strikers.

We have a large SPANISH contingent at the club already.

We have Steven Gerrard.

We have a massive advantage over any club except Madrid.

Also, don't give me this ****** about not being able to afford him, if we can get him, the funds will be raised.

yeah i`ve been glancing at the madrid match -owen scored again- but i`ll have a proper look at the seville derby thats on in a minute.
