i saw that on sunday, i thought it was fans thanking jerzy rather than jerzy thanking the fans.
nice touch from a classy bloke.
as long as football is played he will be remembered, as soon as people think of istanbul 2005 the name jerzy dudek, those antics on the line and THAT save come to mind.
good luck for the future mate, thanks for everything.

Good keeper, old enough though...

I was wondering, is there a decent new keeper to take the chance in the next few years?

He will always be remembered for Istanbul and IMO he was the best keeper in the prem in his first season 01-02 :cool:  Hope he finds a decent club and what a gesture

Jerzy Dudek he came and made history at our club, what more could you ask for.
a great guy and will be missed.
