ahh good.. that rules out further actions against Carra but what about the Maxi one? had he seen it surely it would have been a free kick (know i'de want one if the shoe was on the other.. well shin) so is there not a chance that could come back to bite us?

i honestly didnt think too much of maxi's tackle on that dirty little beggar,it was a high foot and a little late but definately no sending off offense, yellow at worst and you see them all the time in football.
rafael would have dropped to the ground if it was that bad.
if the fa do pursue maxi for it then it show's nothing more than the ability manure have of making them bow to there wishes.

Carra's tackle was a stinker and he is a lucky man to have stayed on the park on Sunday.

However he can't be retrospectively punished and thank god for that.

Ya nothing will be done because Carra was punished.

I am slightly worried about Suarez tho.  He tugged Rafael's hair after the tackle on Lucas, so I worry that because the ref didn't do anything about it, the FA (Fergie's Associates) could come back and give him some garbage ban.

deserves all the applause and all the credit he gets, an amazing servant to the club, fought for the shirt and a true Anfield Legend.

It's a shame that a few supporter still give him a hard time :no

Fantastic achievement :buttrock

His aftermatch interview was the highlight for me though. The two obvious candidates for man of the match were Maxi and Suarez but neither speaks English well enough. So what do Sky do? They get in Carra who's harder to understand than most of the foreign lads put together.

seems that JC has spent the summer getting to know more about being a manager at liverpool, reports from talk sport say JC spent the summer learning the ins and outs of picking new players and how reports on players can be used in bids to by the players.the report also said he spent a lot of time understanding the youth set up and the pros and con's of using players from that set up.

could it be that by the end of the year we will see JC  sitting next to kenny on the bench??.......could our next manager be a player manager with Kenny at his side?

i dont know but talk sports think so.

would be a return to the good old days if true. Hiring within our own setup to ensure the people at the helm know and understand the club and its values. :nod
