Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I am not sure if this is in the right place but I am sure that the powers that be will move it somewhere more suitable if need be  :;):

Anyway my nephew plays football in a local mini league at the JJB soccer dome in Manchester. After his last game on Saturday a bloke came over and invited him and  his team to go and play in Liverpool against some other kids team ( hes only 5 ) so he went to Liverpool last night to play and was asked to go back and train with the Liverpool kids team I think he is going to play at Knowsley soon. I may be a tiny bit bias but he is a cracking little player and even though he is a Man City fan I am already working on telling him how great it would be to play for Liverpool  :;): .

Obviously there is a long way to go yet but the bloke from Liverpool ( Neil Jones ) seemed really keen on him going back to train with them, fingers crossed he makes it.

You heard it here first a Newkit exclusive Jaeden Mitchell a future star  :nod

Tell him to stop playing CM because we have to many CM at LFC. Winger or striker would be ok.

As long as hes in a Liverpool shirt I don't care what position he plays  :D

My little lad is 2 in a few days and the recent events regarding my nephew made me think, I live in Manchester and if my lad turns out to be a great football player and he is spotted playing by United and they invite him for a trial what do I do  ???

5 years old? my god I dread to think of the pressure the poor little blighter is under already ! I hope he makes it in the future but lets not put pressure on him already.

Do you know what ive seen this happen hundreds of times dont get me wrong Destro but its a cattle market lad there picking the kids up younger and younger. How can anyone tell what a kid of 5 is going to develop like. just tell your nephew and your brother to enjoy it and not to take it to serious at this time lots of these teams and coaches today give these kids false hope.
