:D That's why we are still talking about it Bav, there's feck all else to talk about. Infact following on from that subject, I have my first criticism of Roy Hodgson.

Will you Roy, FFS, please, just buy someone or get someone on a free, or say you've fallen out with the coach driver or something. Give us something to talk about at least. Normally by now we'd have signed two 14 year olds from Abelrugher in the Finnish fourth division, a 17 year old goalkeeper (who is eight feet tall) from Hadjuk Splits academy, and we'd have sold eight players, the only two you've heard of being the bloke who got shot up the erse and Lee Peltier. The manager would have had a row with the owners, the Chairman, Alan Hansen and the manager of Lithuania.

If this is what we've got to look forward to under Roy, the odd sensible press conference and statements such as "Torres is on holiday, that's fine by me. We'll have a chat when he gets back" then it's going to be a boring season.

C'mon Royston, stir it up a bit mate.

imagine that  :D

actually it reminds me once of when i was in school and we'd had a comprehension excercise to do - remember the ones where you had to read some text and then answer some questions about it. as usual i couldn't really be a'rsed writing much so made the minimum effort and wrote the shortest answers possible so i could rush out and attend to the important hanging out in bus stops type business for the evening. next day in school the teacher announced he would be comparing the wrong way and the right way to do it, citing my own work and the class swot's work as examples. imagine my surprise when he spent half an hour waxing lyrical about my concise and to the point answers in comparison to the sprawling rubbish of the posh girl.

i've always remembered that as a very important lesson in life.

If that is not intellectually challenging for you and you find the thing mildly amusing then I apologise for not having flippant and intellectually banal views that some people seem to enjoy.  I was under some bizarre impression that football evoked passionate views and we were passionate fans

Great post, emotion oozing out of you.

Doesnt change anything, its still a silly subject to get concerned about and has no reflection whatsoever on whether you're a passionate fan or not.

You're appealing to tribal influences and bonding - you'll probably have more luck in the Congo or Botswana.

Our manager, the man in charge of our club deserves our support and respect at a difficult time for him and us.

I hated the Benitez bashers but he had been here a few years and I could understand although not agree with the criticism.

ROY has just started and fully deserves our unconditional support to help him

No more Woy digs please.  We are LFC not Chelsea

Good shout lad
I think if anyone is still using the speech impediment as a form of abuse while he is now manager of Liverpool Football Club need to seriously look at themselves
I myself poked fun but it was when he had no affiliation with the Club I simply wouldn't dream of doing so now that he is the manager of our club

Unbelievable, it was ok to abuse him before he was manager, but not anymore...I think you should be seriously looking at yourself to be honest making stupid comments like this  :no  :no

I think the whole thread is a joke and likely to be one long argument, let mods are happy for such threads to go on too long.

I can't believe people think they can tell other people what to say or think, never mind the hypocrisy of those said same people who will take high moral ground over something so twivial and yet never worry what offence they cause elsewhere without thought.

Some people have nothing better to bitch about, and since this thread should have been deleted/closed for so many reasons, 'still' shouldn't come into it

- not related to football(ing matters)
- people shouldn't be dictating what others can or can't say/do
- it is likely to involve arguments and insults, nothing else since there is no reasoned discussion over differing views

and I'm sure there's more reasons to put this thread in the (don't) recycle bin. But mods apply the rules when it suits, perhaps they are mulling over making "Woy" a carding offence

Owzat, if this thread is so pointless and is destined only to start arguments why keep dipping you oar into it?

You are an intelligent person. We can see that from the vast majority of your posts.
However on this occassion with regards to disrespecting our manager you are wrong.
As far as "tell other people what to say or think" that, as you know, is the way it works. Any offensive and downright Fu*king rude behaviour has to be checked. There is absolutely no need to keep highlighting Hodsons impediment.
Harmless? Do you think if you went up to him and said "Hello Woy, Im weally, weally not being diswespectful when I twy to talk like you" that he would laugh and joke with you?
Its pathetic that people insist on carrying this on and I would ask the mods to give a warning to persistant offenders.
Is it me or are the ones who are using "woy" are the ones who have serious doubts about his ability to manage LFC?
Grow up lads and show some Liverpool nous. Its like booing at the match. People say they have the right, but its not big and its not clever.
Pack this sh'it in
Please
