Strange but True:

       1978
       Wales win the Grand Slam in Rugby
       The Pope Dies
       Liverpool lose in the League Cup final to the eventual League
       Champions that year{Forest}
       Liverpool win the European Cup

      2005
       Wales win the Grand Slam in Rugby
       The Pope Dies
       Liverpool lose in the League Cup final to the eventual League
       Champions that year{Chelsea}
       Will Liverpool make it a clean sweep and win the European Cup

i really do believe in football superstitions, maybe not of this kind but when someone cant win at a particular ground or under a particular referee, my fav was when birmingham won promotion to the premiership in 02/03 not 100% sure if was them but everytime a match of theirs was broadcast on sky they lost, dont think it was them cos they didnt lose to villa but then 1 team did i know for certain, could it have been west brom?
