i personally dont think kewell has proved he has what it takes to play for liverpool, too many matches this season he has disappeared from games and did very little for the team.

but i always give players 2 seasons to prove they have it

but diouf, heskey, biscan, traore, etc, they have had their 2 seasons

Coley the fact is he's a class player at the end of the day.

I think he needs to be replaced with a more intventive technical player with a bit more pace but that can come later. There are weaker areas of the team at the moment.

There isn't enough width provided on the right and no-one who can really use the width, there isn't any pace at the back and there isn't a classy striker to partner Owen.

Striker, Centre Half, Right Winger, Playmaking Central midfielder in that order. The central midfielder imo we already have (Cheyrou) but he needs a run and a decent chance.

Stu is right. Hamann is genuine class and for the time being the condition of the side means he is needed. Also we have more pressing requirements than replacing him at this moment in time
