i'd love to see that an' all... but i can't see rafa doing that

Football by numbers really innit?

The red card should not have happened, the ref was clearly playing to the home team and did so for the first 20 mins at least.

Only in the last 5 mins did we look like penetrating, but for the rest I think that we've been knocking the ball around like it's a training session and Milan have been quite happily watching ourselves knacker ourselves out and defending where necessary.

On the plus side, we haven't conceded anything, although I thought Sami was feeling sorry for them with the backwards header. Bet he browned himself on that one.

Babel looking tasty and Masch is having fun....it just doesn't feel like it is clicking yet.

hope we bring it in the 2nd half.

I miss Brian Moore commentating by phone.

That was definetly not a red card. The first yellow should never have been given.
I'm guessing this will end 0-0.

And I think Benitez should sub a defender for an extra forward (Crouch).
Inter is not dangerous up front and after the red card, he will sub an extra defender back in defence. So will be even less dangerous. So Liverpool have a 'spare' defender. He would do good by substitute a defender for attacker.

That second yellow was one of those that the crowd all appeal for but never really expect to get. I was stunned that the ref got his card out, but in all fairness we had a good break on, so it wasn't really all that harsh in itself.

If he hadn't already been booked, I reckon then would've been the time to card him.

F*ck it though - bonus.

We need to improve on our crossing second half, Finnan and Aurelio in particular have put in a lot of poor balls.

Just put pressure on inter by faster pacing the ball around. (and another attacker up front, also could change Kewell for a defender for left side, then move Kuyt to box together with Torres)
