We look like a completely different team tonight though. There's a swagger about us that I've not seem for months. That last ball is still not quite there, but it's not been too far off on a few occasions.

??? So you weren't hoping for us to get past Inter then, or did you expect us to beat them in Milan??
I think we have to win this by 2 goals to have any chance and this is the perfect opportunity but Kuyt is ineffectual again, bring on Crouch ffs!!!

so he can miss like barnsley and chelsea? No thank you , kuyt's done well so far , hasn't had clear chances , infact no 1 has

nice play there. not a bad effort by kuyt

really got to create more chances.... inter's defence are on the ball tonight, and are not giving anything away

we're finding it difficult in the final third

Good first half performance.

We must score in the second though.

Been dominating the game so far.

half time , Not much wrong done by the lads except for the final shot , If i were rafa i'd take off Lucas shift stevie to the middle and bring on benayoun , he can unlock tight defences and playh that final ball . Babel and torres have been immense , torres with his pace , Babel with his skills and pace

Could have done with a goal or two but other than that a very pleasing first half.  Torres is getting a little isolated at times but Gerrard is trying to support as much as he can. Babel looks dangerous but needs to pick his passes better, the pass for Gerrard was perfect though.

Like some1 mentioned , Maicon has been immense , i think we need crouch but i'll wait till the 50 or 60 th if i were rafa to see if the half time talk  had its desired effect

OK so far, completley outplaying them. But they will no shut up shop and it will be very hard to score in the 2nd half.

Lets hope the Ref keeps giving us the decisions, the red card was a shocker.

Macha must be :censored: that there was a red card, he hasnt had to do much after it :D

Babels done well, as has the entire team (yes, even kuyt). Small center backs, 10 men defending deep, its made for Crouch but :censored: knows who to take off
