which is the probably 11 of liverpool for the CL match vs Inter?

Latest news from Appiano Gentile sais that Maicon will be probably ready for tuesday 19, and also Deki Stankovic, so our 11 would be this:

                     Julio Cesar
Maicon     Cordoba        Materazzi       Chivu

                       Cambiasso
           Vieira                        Zanetti

                         Stankovic

                 Ibrahimovic     Cruz

Jimenez will be out for sure for the first leg.
If maicon would be not ready, zanetti on RB maxwell on LB and chivu in midfield.
Maybe Figo in the 18, and ready for the 2nd leg.
This is the latest news.

materazzi is slow as :censored: i hope he plays because torres could do him for pace all day long

but i think the real battle will be in midfield, we really have to stop them boys playing because there midfield could dictate this game if we let them, luckily we have the best midfield in the world :)

this tie remind me of juventus 2005 in so many ways. the italian champions turn up on a really good run, we're not playing particularly well etc.

lets blitz them in the first 20 like we did juventus. they didn't know what had hit them.

Just watching the old milan match on telly and i couldnt believe the free kick . Smithy explained that before the game Shanks showed them a tape of a set play and said if you wanna try that sometime in the game go ahead.
Well they tried it and cally scored an unbeilavable goal from a chip over the wall from Strong.

Absolutly amazing when you think nowdays set plays are practised day in day out in training and still some of them turn out to be :censored:.

Geat to hear the first rendition by the kop though of Go Back To Italy

We were cheated nanny. 65 was meant to be our year and we were cheated by a cheating ref who cheated for the cheating Italians.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Have you ever seen that set play though had me shaking my head in wonderment another thing i was amazed at was there striker had no shin pads on sock round his ankles and that was in the days when you could give someone a dig .

As smithy said tonight if a player in todays game breaks a finger nail there out for three weeks :D

I've saw that game time and time again Nan, even if it was 2 years before my birth, see I'm not that old :D

Best thing about the game, Tommy Smith kicking the ref coming off at full time over in Milan. Classic Iron Man Smith. True legend in every sense of the word.

It freaky how fast time flies.  It seems just like yesterday that we drew INTER.  European nights are the best, the atmosphere at Anfield is going to be so great!

A conversation I had with me lad today.

Me: "We have to play Crouch, those Italians don't like the ball in the air."

Son: "Neither does Crouch"

:D

Just thought I'd share that, made me laugh when me lad said it.
