INTER MILAN vs LIVERPOOL: CL-11/03/08 - 2nd Leg - Build up and Match Discussion

Harsh booking on Babel. Could be effecting his play a little as he's been a bit lazy looking. Lucas seems to be our weak link, though. he's letting Zanetti and Cruz run off him too easily at times, putting the back four under stress.

agree with most on here. need to slow it down, string som more passes together, pass it bacwards if need be... stretch them at the back, then break

Sloppy passing made things a lot worse than it should have been, but we are getting the odd chance and Torres has been one on one with the last defender on a couple of occasions.

I would have signed that at the start of the match.

I just think we're capable of scoring and we should settle the game that way.

We don't look like scoring

Yeah we do, and there were easy oppurtunities for Kuyt to deliver better balls from 15-20 yds away, if he gets one right we'll score, because he's getting in the right positions.

Crouch doesn't offer anything at the moment to what Kuyt has. In fact, the way this game is going, it's not suited to Crouch whatsoever. Kuyt should stay on, as he's making life difficult for them and helping out down that left side. From what I've seen of Cruz and Zanetti, Kuyt's industry is greatly needed.

To many longs balls.  It's counter productive, we need to just slow it down and get our passing together.

The more they come out and attack in the second half the more gaps they will leave at the back.

Would you put money on Nando not scoring?

We don't seem to have any clear cut chances in front of goal (except torres' chance) to look like scoring.

Javier Zanetti must be stoped he is playing really well.

Good half that if Babel had a bit more balls he would have got on to that chance early on instead of easing up. Both teams have created a few chances, great save by Pepe its up to them to try and break through, the longer the game goes on the more they are going to come forward and we will nick a goal and finish this :D

The Reff is having a good game although we need to stop the silly tackles because his patience is going to run out

Ye Zanetti having a class game.I think Lucas is a bit quick going in for tackles i think he shoould wait to see wat Zanetti is doin then tackle.

Babel worst performer of the half, not really up to the pace and tentative in the challenge. Gerrards been a little bypassed, and needs to get his foot on the ball.

Babel - yes

Kuyt - definitely no

Pity we don't have cover with Alonso for the center, as Lucas just looks a little out of his depth.
