Given the high demand for tickets and the limited supply (number of tickets), it makes sense financially to be increasing the ticket prices to increase the revenue... Many wont like it, but the fact that there's enough fans who are willing and able to buy those tickets at the new prices means that it was always going to happen sooner rather than later... Its a shame all the same though

This is exactly the kind of limp response I would have expected from Liverpool's PR team .. certainly not from someone who views himself as a genuine fan and frequents a Liverpool Forum under the guise of one![]()
When Anfield is no longer the bastion of fierce vocal support and no longer makes the hairs on the back of your neck bristle with the anticipation as the team takes to the pitch ... because... and I cant stress the importance of this the common fan has been priced out of Anfield ..when Liverpool have nothing that makes us special and the seats are filled by corporate Gobites who wave plastic flags ... then perhaps you can exonerate these actions with your carefully chosen words "Its a Shame "
I really shouldn't be so shocked you and I are clearly poles apart in our love for the club ... but your disinterest and blasé attitude seriously rankles with me

WTF are you on about, ole bestest LFC supporter in the world ""
I can't believe you don't "admire the honesty" in his post as you so vermantely did when backing Ciggy's post re Hodgson's football credentials in conjunction with his holiday destinations.![]()

I'm sure not everyone who has the extra spending power is a "corporate Gobite who waves plastic flags" who isnt interested and thus cant possibly generate a special atmosphere on the ground...

I hadnt even read his post until after i made mine.. Its just how you came across... Which happens often if truth be told...
Oh on another note... Care to explain the excellent atmosphere from last season ? Seem to remember you complaining about the 'common fan' and how the support was lacking....
Point is, the fans will always do whatever they can to get to see their clubs, I dont think most of the fans have been priced out yet and if the performances on the pitch improve then i have no doubt that the atmosphere that our club has been known to generate in the ground will continue for a long long time regardless of owners or ticket prices... Just my take on things..
