Tomkins is often a good read and I've seen a lot of what he does over on RAWK but I don't necessarily agree with what he often says (he advocated swapping Diouff for Kevin Nolan). A decent writer but is not always objective and he does take himself a tad too seriously.

How else should you take your football JBG

The man's writing style is superb and he's by far the best read apart from St Michael

He's a good writer, yes, but his success has gone to his head.

I think he's a good writer in terms of the content and style but needs a good editor to smarten the whole thing up a bit
