Yeah it would have to be the F.A cup for me over the that silly named 'Europa cup'. The F.A cup is the most prestigous domestic cup to play for, soaked in English history the F.A cup allows the minnows to pit their wits and earn a windfall against the 'bigger clubs', its quite romantic really. Part-time footballers who maybe accountants, Plumbers and dildo sellers during the rest of their working week get to live a dream playing the likes of Liverpool etc.

I read somewhere that if we win the uefa cup (sorri.......europa cup), we will have the most number of european trophies (combining both european and uefa cup)...

So Uefa cup for me.

And benitez's resume will look way better with a uefa cup win.... :p

Its a no contest for me, FA cup every day of the week.

FA cup final day is always a great one and winning that cup that invloves United Arsenal and Chelsea would be a far better achievement for me.

Also we need to start familiarising ourselves with Wembley, we havent played there once yet.
It used to be like a second home in the 80's.

Cant see how thats the case as Real Madrid have 9 european cups.

Unless we are using the super cup which i am not sure whether real have won, but to me doesnt really mean anything anyway.

if we win the Europa Cup we will also qualify for the Super Cup which means a chance to win another trophy right? sounds like a good deal :D

Europa League obviously for losers but obviously Rafa puts higher priority on European competitions.

I would much rather see us win the FA Cup, its a much bigger competition with a massive heritage compared to the Europa League/Cup.

how about the honours of being the first ever winners? but then again, all they did was change the name. still the second class competition in europe.

Too long for us considering we havent had any kind of run in it really since we won it.
We need to take this opportunity (europa) to bring through some of our talented youngsters as in a normal season games where we can start a couple ressies are few and far between, we should take this chance to give the likes of Pacheco, Ayala, eccleston and Darby valuable minutes on the pitch.
I`m not saying start them all at once mind or that would defeat the point, still put out stong sides.
We need to know if these lads are going to be good enough or not and now is as good a time as any.
