We were well beaten at the weekend by Arsenal 4-2, if we reach the Champion's League and play people like Biscan and Heskey who are too slow and are more suited to first division football instead of world class player's such as Henchoz and Baros we will again fall at the first hurdle. We will be facing team's such as Real Madrid, Monaco, Celta Vigo, Porto, Bayern, etc. If we get thrashed by Arsenal 4-2 when we took the lead twice i fear what will happen against Champ. League teams who are competing for a much more valued trophy. Houllier has to go, he is cr#p. We have to get rid of these players who are costing us money and games, Biscan, Diao, Traore and Heskey all must go. I must give credit to Houllier for making wise buys this year but last year he brought poor player's such as Diao, Diouf and Cheyrou and this has got to stop.

But we'd rather be in the CL getting thrashed by Real etc, rather than playing in the UEFA from the word go.  For starters our better players want to be in the CL, and if they are not, they will be looking elsewhere.  Secondly, hopefully when Houllier is sacked at the end of this season, somebody like Martin O'Neill would find it more attractive to come if we are in the CL.

Don't start worrying about whether we can compete or can have some sort of success in the CL.  At the moment, that is a bonus competition which gives us more cash.  Lets concentrate on being able to compete in the Premiership and ensure we are doing well in that, and not scrambling around at the end of the season wondering whether we can pinch 4th spot from under the noses of Newcastle, Fulham, Birmingham etc.

First of all I dont like your negative attitude in saying IF we get into the chamopion's league.
Hekey is way too good for the first division so I'd appreciate less critsism on his behalf.
The only thing I agree with is that Houllier is cr*p.

Please please tell me how Heskey is causing us games.
