After another great performances from are youngsters last night and a few of the fridge players (except Diao), who do you think should captain the sides if he sticks with the kids. I noticed last night that Dudek was captain but i dont like goalkeepers being captains and never had ive always felt it has to be an outfield player to captain the side. After seeing the last two games in the league cup one player has got the game by the scruff of the neck on both occasions and let the kids get on with what there good at, this player being, of course, Igor Biscan, Last night Diao might not as well have been there cos Biscan (especially first half) ran the midfield and linked up with the attack on his own, and i can just imagine how the fans would react to seeing Igor leading the Benitez babes out at a final, It would be electric and also i think the lad deserves it cos he had no future wot so ever at Anfield in pre season, but Rafa has turned him round and the display at Deportivo emphasised the fact that Biscan is capable of being a very good player.....Dont know what anyone else thinks but i think the new Kop cult hero should be Number 1 choice if he does stick with the kids.

From what I heard Diao played with all the finese of a fridge.
Haha just got on to that me self, what i meant by fridge players was that the ones from quite cold countrys e.g biscan (croatia) and Henchoz (Switzerland) had good games and of course Diao didnt have a good game and hes not a fridge player cos he from senegal and its hot there so hes more a toaster player. Sorry for not explaining that first.......or it could just be i spelt fridge instead of fringe......Now im just off to cool down and get me a cold beer from me fringe!

Don't believe for one minute that anyone other than Stevie Gerrard will lead the team out should we get to Cardiff. An you can be damn sure Alonso will be alongside along him aswell as Carra and the rest of the first team.
