Irony is....................having a muppet for your avatar

Why don't you just focus on quoting statistics you tedious geek!

The avatar actually is ironic and is a response to people continuously posting that picture when they were trying to put me down, I and a few other posters actually found it quite funny.

You are right though, I probably would end up sacking myself :D but in all honesty are you happy with Rafa's style of football?
Would you not like to see a bit more swagger to the team a bit more character and some more fighting spirit together with a bit of flair. I think we have the players to do it if they were properly inspired and given more dynamic tactics.

David Moyes has boasted that he has the one thing his Liverpool rival Rafa Benitez may never enjoy - control.

While Benitez refuses to sign a new deal because he doesn't have the final say on who joins and leaves his squad, Moyes goes into today's FA Cup Merseyside derby crowing that it is he who calls the shots.

Everton boss Moyes said: "I've control of the football club with the chairman.

"I make the decisions and that's the way it is.

"The chairman would never do anything without my agreement or without my say-so."

Heunder lined the power he has by declaring that he would never have to sell stars like Mikel Arteta, Tim Cahill or Joleon Lescott unless he wanted to.

Moyes added: "We're not having it for any of them - the chairman knows that and I have made it clear."

Benitez, with less than 18 months of his deal to run, faces an uncertain future unless the latest Arab to attempt to buy himself into the Premier League comes up with an asking price of £600million and gives the Kop manager his biggest wish.

Moyes has no such concerns and smiled as he underlined how he thinks a club should be run.

He said: "It is important managers have control over who they are buying and selling. To get that you have to earn it by how you work and deal with people within the club.

"They see how I work and chairman Bill Kenwright gives me every penny while I do everything to force him to give me more.

"He knows I'll do everything to make Everton better and the great thing is we are both singing from the same hymn sheet.

"Bill Kenwright would never go over my head on anything."

After watching a recent Barcelona game (can't really remember who was they up against) I realized that liverpool style of play is almost identical if not better in certain aspect. With the exceptions of their excellent strikers line-up, we are almost at par with them in terms of playing style. The only reason why they are on top of la liga right now is the excellence of their strike force as compared to us. This is where everyone should know that Rafa indeed has brought us to a level we had never expected before (before Houllier at least).
To get a new manager is easy, but will we get an immediate result or do we have to start all over again with the new gaffer 5-year plan? Mourinho got it easy...real easy. Say we get a better manager but the management decides to stick with the same players....I would say that we are gonna be f*cked again..
That is why rafa needs to be given a full authority when it comes to the players affairs, only then we'll decide whether he should stay or not.
Until then, he stays.

Well I think Rafa probably was thinking along the same lines when he bought Keane. I just hope we get rid of him in the Summer. Keane I mean.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

No, with the ball right now they're better. Of course they have done the odd not brilliant game like recently the derby against Espanyol (A derby is a derby aswell in Spain), but they stress their game more in posession and they do that better than us.

However, that doesn't mean their style is better, because if you manage to deny them posession you might make them harm, and we'd be one of the teams they'd struggle to play against IMHO.

Meaning the fact Barcelona does a football that is sometimes nicer to watch doesn't mean that's necessarily a better football, or that they'd crush us in case we played against them.

It doesn't mean neither Barcelona has not problems, because they have the better Ligar record in points in history, yes, but they perfectly know right now they're Messi-dependant. That player is more influential in nowadays Barcelona than Ronaldo for Manchester.
