I suspect Gerrard and Carragher are desperate for Hodgson to stay at least until May so they don't have to have another load of upheavel with another new manager so soon. The question surely is if NESV want to persist with Hodgson long term (which I doubt) when rather than if will Torres, Johnson and Reina leave?

Thing is I don't want any money to be given to Roy in the Jan window. He needs to really be sacked yesterday. Maybe if everyone keeps spreading rumors he will get fed up and just crack up on camera.

Fair enough. How about those calling our manager disgraceful and disrespectful names?
Not offensive?

nothing to do with any manager...it was calling someone on the forum a tw@t .....it is offensive and others have served bans for using such language.

It was meant as a joke and I have apologised.

I asked you a question about whether calling the manager disgraceful and disrespectful names was offensive.
Could I have an answer please?

If a complaint is made due to offensive language used then the moderating team will make a decision on what action is appropriate.......

for your information present and former managers have been subjected to offensive language but your reprimand was for offense to other members...you have apologised ...move on

No worries Thommo. I have heard him called worse, not on the forum though. But bear in mind this was 1 result, and whilst I want us to succeed I can't help but imagine he will be copping abuse from all sides again if we lose or draw to Bolton.

i feel sorry for roy. yes the performance was much better but more importantly it was the collective attitude of every single player even nando which made all the difference. lets see and hope that every single game continues in this vain. and i truly believe that sacking roy now and replacing him with rijkaard is not the answer.

I don't see how Rijkaard is an option, he had a great barca team but has just been booted out of turkey. I don't rate him.
