Seen a couple of interviews today with Dowie and while he's obviously gutted, he praised up Baros and resisted the temptation to moan about the penalties. Very diplomatic and dignified. Good manager, I hope they stay up.
BTW, don't forget to watch the Robert Earnshaw show starting on SKY in about five minutes. If he scores again you just know I'll flood the boards.

Couldn't afford him PC. Besides, have you seen pictures of the lad? Na I said I rated him a while back and got absolutely laughed off. Then, he scored two in the next game. He who laughs last etc.

I'd sign him mate to be honest. Without boring everyone again by repeating myself I think he'd score a lot of goals for us.

I agree about Dowie as a manager - he was an absolute donkey as a player, but he's done a brilliant job with pretty much no funds available to him. It's always disappointing (but sometimes admittedly very entertaining) to hear managers moaning about every decision that didn't go their way, and to have a manager from one of the Prem's minnows accepting it with good grace is actually pretty refreshing.

I agree about Dowie, hes a top guy. He must have been gutted losing like that and was diplomatic with his comments about Baros. To be honest I could have understood if he had lost it a bit as Baros does throw himself to the ground. As good a player as he is, and I think hes fantastic right now, hes theatrical for sure. That Palace guy who thre himself to the floor was quality too lol great fun

I would say he was a donkey, he was a huge threat in the air in his playing day, scoring plenty.

Never a great player but always give 100% and played his heart out for N. Ireland always respect him for that. Top man in my book.

Its refreshing to see a manager who resists the urge to moan about decisions that didn't go his team's way, but instead concentrates on the errors his players make.  Fair play to Dowie, I hope Palace are able to stay up.

I love coaches like Dowie, cus they always bring a certain elemnet into play. To me he's like Mark Cuban for the NBA.

Did nobody see the interview I saw as he was moaning like an old woman.

They were 2 blatant penos and yet he said players were going down easily all day and how a big club like Liverpool always get the close decisions.
